Peace To The Gods & The Earths, My Name Is Kean ASÈ. My real name is Keynan J. Ivey. I was born & raised in Camden, NJ. I’m a music artist, producer, business man, & an engineer. Since a young child I was always fascinated by music. If you’re from the Camden/Philly area then you probably heard of the song “Kick The Ball” by The Krown Rulers. Well the rapper on the song is MC Grand Pooh & he’s my uncle. Growing up my mother had a boyfriend who was also a rapper in the city of Camden & he would have CDs of his music on our computer table. I would listen to some of them & write my own raps. Not only would I write raps I wrote stories, poems, & etc. Fast forward to me being 15, I had a mic, an interface, & a computer to record my music. At that time I was going by Youingin’ Up ‘N Grindin’ Prodigy (YUNG Prodigy). Fast forward to present day, now I’m going by Kean ASÈ. I was blessed to open up a show for Beanie Sigel, perform in front of Camden’s City Hall, perform at Rutgers Camden College, be in a movie called “Sons of Sin”, be apart of a podcast that was able to be on the WHYY newspaper, & many more.
